Meal planning, minus the planning

Plan the week.
Cook without thinking.

Mise turns “what’s for dinner?” into a five-minute Sunday ritual. Tell it who you’re feeding and what you’re in the mood for — it builds the week, writes the grocery list, and reminds you to thaw the chicken.

How it works

Five minutes on Sunday. That’s the whole job.

No recipe rabbit holes, no spreadsheets. Mise does the thinking so you only do the cooking — and only the cooking you actually enjoy.

1

Tell it about your table

Who’s eating, what they won’t touch, how much time you really have on a Tuesday. Mise learns the picky kid and the late-shift partner.

2

Get a week that makes sense

Fast meals on busy nights, a proper roast when there’s time, and leftovers that actually get eaten. Swap anything with one tap.

3

Shop once, cook calmly

One grocery list, sorted by aisle, with what you already have crossed off. Step-by-step cook mode with timers when it’s go time.

What’s inside

Built for how real kitchens work

Not for the week you wish you had — for the one where soccer runs late and someone forgot to defrost anything.

We have friends over Friday and I’m dead on Wednesday
Done — moved the slow-cooker chili to Wednesday and put braised short ribs on Friday. Want a dessert that can be made Thursday?

Talk to it like a friend who cooks

“Make it cheaper.” “Less chicken.” “Use up the kale.” Mise adjusts the whole week and the list, instantly.

Snap a photo or tick what you have. The plan builds around it so less ends up in the bin.

Live price estimates from your usual store. Mise trims the plan before you ever reach the checkout.

Shared with the whole household

Everyone sees the plan, anyone can claim a night to cook, and the list syncs the moment someone grabs the milk.

From the kitchen

“I didn’t realise how much space dinner was taking up in my head.”

We used to order takeout three nights a week out of sheer decision fatigue. Now it’s maybe once, and that’s on purpose.

The fridge-first thing is genius. I told it I had a sad half-bag of spinach and three eggs and it built a frittata night around it.

My partner and I finally stopped the “I don’t know, what do you want?” loop. The shared list alone is worth the subscription.

Questions

Things people ask before dinner

What if I hate a meal it suggests?

Tap it, swipe it away, and it’s gone — the grocery list updates in the same breath. Mise also remembers: after a couple of swaps it stops suggesting anything in that neighbourhood.

Does it handle allergies and diets?

Yes. Set hard rules per person (nut allergy, coeliac, vegetarian) and soft preferences (“less dairy”, “more fish”). Hard rules are never broken, even when you ask Mise to remix the week.

Can I use my own recipes?

Paste a link, snap a photo of a cookbook page, or type it in. Mise extracts the ingredients and steps, and your recipes get planned alongside everything else.

Which grocery stores does it work with?

Lists work anywhere — they’re sorted by aisle for whatever store you pick. Live pricing and one-tap checkout currently cover 40+ chains across the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, with more arriving monthly.
